Partez Rowing Club was established in April 2000 by rowing enthusiasts from the 1970s and 1980s. Since its foundation, it has grown to approximately 100 men and women of all ages and skill levels, from former Olympic and national class athletes to former university, high school and club rowers. We meet every Sunday at the Toda Olympic Rowing Course and row eights, fours and all classes of sculling boats.

In addition to weekly workouts, our members actively compete in Masters-level regattas year round, including sprint races, indoor rowing competitions and head races. Partez not only maintains a regular regatta schedule of over 10 races a year throughout Japan, its members also race internationally, in countries around the world. For example, Partez crews have raced in the past in Hong Kong and at the Head of the Charles in Boston and anticipate doing so regularly in the future.

Since its beginnings Partez has become well known throughout rowing circles in Japan and has been actively welcoming all oarsmen and oarswomen from Japan and overseas, regardless of experience level or background. Whether you have only limited rowing experience, are returning to the sport after a long break or hope to maintain a minimal level of competitive skills and conditioning,

Partez welcomes you with enthusiasm!
